I’ve always been admiring the beauty of Eastern Silk carpets, their shine and ability to change color depending on place of the light. In the carpet stores and museums, I could spend hours studying numerous patterns of details, elements, flowers which people in Eastern countries used to create their carpets. And this carpet, made completely out of beads, is more colorful and radiant than its silk “brothers” thanks to the special characteristics of glass. I bead-waved this carpet mostly out of precious Aiko beads. The idea was to express the beauty of efflorescent Paradise with plenty of marvelous flowers on its green fields, Heaven, which gates became open to people after the Resurrection. “Resurrection” in Greek is “????????” (“Anastasi”), and this the most important event for the people gave a base for one of the most beautiful women’s name – Anastasia.
